Following Scotland’s decision, wearing a face covering will become mandatory in all shops and supermarkets across England from 24 July.

This ruling also applies to public transport and premises such as airports, train and bus stations.

Those who fail to follow the new rules of wearing a face covering will face a fine of up to £100 and will be enforced by the police, rather than shop workers.

A face covering must be worn by all people using a shop, which is any indoor establishment which offers goods or services for sale or hire, when the shop is open. You do not need to wear a face covering in hospitality premises such as cafes, coffee shops, restaurants or pubs but hand sanitiser is an essential.

CareSan have a selection of high quality disposable face masks that are ideally suited to comply with these new regulations.

How To Safely Use A Face Mask

When applying or removing the face mask, it is important that you wash and sanitise your hands first and avoid touching your face. Dispose of the mask responsibly to further minimise the risk of infection to others.
